voice teacherMelinda is a classically trained vocalist and vocal pedagogist who believes in helping to identify and train the “authentic voice” through proven classical techniques, keeping the voice healthy so that singers can perform any style with confidence and clarity and without harming or fatiguing it.

She received the majority of her training in Europe, studying with Marlene Parente, Sandra Saltzer and David Dekker. She attended Texas Christian University on a full vocal performance scholarship, and has honed her teaching techniques through years of experience in schools, churches and her private studio.

She offers vocal coaching for auditions and performance preparation, working with adults and adolescents.
