Prayer of St. Patrick
May the strength of God pilot me, the power of God preserve me today.
May the wisdom of God instruct me,
The eye of God watch over me,
The ear of God hear me,
The word of God give me sweet talk,
The hand of God defend me,
The way of God guide me.
Christ be with me
Christ before me
Christ after me
Christ in me
Christ beneath me
Christ over me
Christ on my right hand
Christ on my left hand
Christ on this side
Christ on that side
Christ at my back
Christ in the head of everyone to whom I speak
Christ in the mouth of every person who speaks to me
Christ in the eye of every person who looks at me
Christ in the ear of every person who hears me today.

First Day of Spring
Let me walk in beauty
And let my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears grow sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength not to be greater than my brother or sister
but to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
